The bumper fits perfectly.

Keep the black gills.

an NY member was kind enough to drive it up to him....

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...t=0&start=0

Well, sort of. I gave him my address, he shipped it here and then picked it up in his MDX. I would've looked silly trying to go over the border with that box sticking out the window of either of my cars.. LOL

Either way, glad to see it's on the car! Looks great man!

I'm still getting used to the black grills. Maybe you can all help me decide... Should I:
1. keep the black matte grills just the way they are.
2. paint the grills jet-black to match the shadow-line trim?
3. switch back to the chrome grills - after all, the chrome grills are the elegant and luxurious BMW trademark.
I have the same issue with the grills, the chrome grills with chrome slats are a BMW "top of the line" feature. I have a set of black grills waiting for install but I keep going back to liking the chrome better...

Same thing on my jet black M3, installed the black grills and it took away the nice details of the nose. Went back to M car stock, chrome with chrome slats

Looks great....I don't think I could ever recommend the m-tech front anymore. The M5 rep just looks so much meaner.
+1, I'm digging this M5 look with the fogs.

So I've read some install "issues" with headlight washers and brake ducts...

does any of the Umnitza M5 front bumper guys wanna do a little write up or comment about the install process, what's different from OEM....I got a feeling we'll see more threads regarding it anyway

I recall it being mentioned that additional parts were necessary
for the washer brackets and that the OEM brake ducts do not fit.
Detailed write-up of pros and cons would help forum members
who may be interested in this mod.

wow, great before and after pics ...I like how the umnitza M5 rep bumper has NO gap with the side fenders....definitely a great option to look into for those looking into changing out their stock bumper...
+1 all the way.

I also love the upgrade from US side markers to EU side leds.

exactly, most have discussed install issues in passing....but I think it would be nice if someone would do a write up for members interested...the OP in this thread mentioned he did get the brake ducts to work....so some clarity on the install would be a great contribution to this topic and forum
