Eibach spings kit (Pro Kit) are designed to work with OEM shocks, so no need to replace shocks.
Standard M-Sport springs reduce ride height approx 15mm under SE levels, Eibach add another 15mm to that setting and are designed for a more performance-orientated feel to the car's handling.
I decided to drop it further as the M-Sport settings still allowed for too much body-roll imo, I wanted a tighter feel to cornering although I admit that this heavy saloon will never be as flickable as a 2 door coupe, it's now VERY nimble. Also, I noticed that at high speeds (100+ mph), M-Sport springs didn't hold the car as well as I would have liked, so a further drop has enhanced the high speed handling of the car too. And finally, I am off to the 'Ring at the end of March with another forum i am a member of (www.evotechnik.net) and we are into a little modding
