Very true, I did see this and I'm quite surprised non-Ms weren't outfitted with this. The only thing I can think of is engine torque. The one thing to notice is that the OEM units use frame-mount to body-mount. If I recall correctly the Ultra Racing Bars go frame-mount to frame-mount which is essentially pointless as the reinforcement bars are't actually reinforcing the body. Tony, can you confirm this?

yes I was talking about this too.
if it is split in the middle then the force will be less than our UR bars which is direct install across.
I would not say pointless maybe 50% less in the force than the UR bars

yes 1 piece is better than 3 piece holding the car
less joint the better.
