Earlier I removed the marquee & frame to take off the mounting bracket, only to find out the dealership had to drill holes in the bumper to install it.
The funny thing is they drilled two different sets of holes . I guess the point is without the plates, there would be four nasty looking holes. It looks like I'll be forced to roll with the marquee and frame...for now.

The bad news is I'm thoroughly disgusted with my LCI bumper now. The good news is I now have a good excuse for an aftermarket replacement!
