I think I'd be more comfortable re-upholstring my steering wheel than tig-welding my manifolds, bro! Especially, since I actually know a little about re-upholstering the interior - just not the steering wheels, unfortunately

If you can find a local shop that does it, it is a great option to shipping your wheel off (which is what started this thread) or going through the process of finding an M wheel, air bag, etc.

I'll be interested, I have a Sport wheel (round air bag) pre 05 with heated, if he has this steering wheel and if it retains the heating option.. count me in
