My Ride: 2004 545i, April 04 build- Titanium Silver/Gray/Poplar, Nav, PDC, rear & side sun shades. Added DVD/TV w/ monitors on headrests, dealer activated bluetooth phone for Idrive, Formula One Pinnacle Tint, Replica ACS front spoiler, #124 staggered wheels w/ non-rft Pirelli tires.
I have installed a DVD/TV Tuner player and two headrest monitors. I was going to add AUX input for DVD player audio and other audio input. I don't have an iPod but do like to have that option if and when I purchase an iPod. Is there an adapter or mod to use the new iPod interface as an AUX input? Thank you.

I'd like to answer your question, but I'm not very clear about it.
If you need AUX input, the only way to go is dealer retrofit, right?

If u already have CD changer, you probably need to retrofit iPod adapter. However, AUX input it's a dealer installation. We can DIY, but cannot program, so it's better off giving to dealer.
