I did the deed. Got the work done at Proformance Industries in New Rochelle. They did a fantastic job of PC'ing the RAC's and fixing a little curb rash I had on one of the front wheels. George and his crew are real nice guys. Chatted with one of them as they were mounting the wheels. Has a beautiful E30 M3 with an S62 engine! Nuts.

As for the color, it apparently doesn't have a name, just called "Special". Looks black in the pics, but it's a very dark grey/anthricite-y/gunmetally color. Hard to describe but gorgeous. Tape line is perfect.

First couple of pics were right after they went on so the springs haven't quite settled. And excuse the filthy car. It rained today

All I can say is THANK GOD THE BLIZZACKS ARE OFF AND THE 305's ARE BACK, BABY!!!!!

Hey mate that car is nice, but you are right as they are gun-machine and also a bit glossy color or what see the last pic with nice ///M valve cap, and the wheels are not the adonized like Alex has on his M5

Ed but they look nice, Tho' they are only one piece and not 3 nor light weighted I guess who do they feel?

Anyway the style silver or blue on black wheels is now common and I think that is ok. Your M5 is still of course nice and do not mind what we say bro

Yeah, black center wheels on a silver car is pretty common, but I like it better than the silver that it came with.
As for the weight, they are 1 piece, but VERY light forged wheels. Approx 22 lbs per wheel.
If I understand the process correctly, powdercoating is sturdier than anodized??

ECF
I would like nothing than getting the full Stage 2 but I just can't lower the car unless I get some wheel well modifications. The 305's rub.

I may get the front control system and the rear sway which is essentially the Stage 2 without the lowering/bump stops.
