^unfortunately that's common with HID AE's...the inner halo tends to wash out the outter halo and even the xenon's...some don't mind...some do....

You're talking about the diffused look?

Yah, like Gene said, that's how HID's are. Some people mind, and those that do go Orions

I think that most are probably just happy to get clean white AE's, and don't mind it.

and some just slightly tint their headlights (~50%) to tone down the HID washout....

The pictures don't do justice to how awesome the AEs look both at day and at night. Flushing or not, this is by far my favorite cosmetic mod.
