I know this a weak and I can't believe I'm posting this!

I'm at the shop having my Magnaflow installed. I'm giddy with excitement as the first mod is taking place!...lol what a loser I am

I'll have to post some pics and my own sound clip soon.
Ha! Congrats. Keep us posted on what you think.

Hey - I have also ordred my 14815 and plan to get it installed on my 04-530i late this week
Again - thanks C, for all your inputs!

providenceleaf - let me know how the install works out for you and if there is anythign funky. I got my swaybar mods done last week and the guy looked at the stock muffler and said the 14815 will fit just fine (maybe with some minimal custom pipe work) .. so i am hoping for the best !

The install was great. I'm so used to installing bolt on exhaust myself, it pained me to have to pay a shop $100 to install a muffler! They did a great job though. Total cost for the mod was $260 for the muffler and install. From all of my reading and shopping that is still less than half of what any other aftermarket exhaust for our cars would cost.

BTW...I love this mod. It sounds great and looks clean! It definitely add some character to the ass of our cars!

I will post up some pics and a sound clip as soon as I get a chance.

No problem guys. I'm here to make you spend more of your hard earned money on a car that's only going to depreciate over time. Hahahahaha!

Got the muffler installed last weekend. Sounds great and looks even better :-)

BTW - have you guys noticed any performance or mileage issue after doing this mod? Maybe its just the slight drone at a low RPM, but I think the car lags a bit in slower speeds?

its been discussed that getting rid of backpressure will probably give you gain in top end but some loss in the low end.
