We had amber turn signals on almost every foreign marque here in the US up until a few years ago.

My e39 had the amber "egg yolk" rear turns.

Cadillac came out with the whole red LED turns many years ago.

For me, it wasn't a Euro thing, but more that I am just used to the amber turns, and I also feel that they are much more noticeable on the road. So it was also a safety thing. I wouldn't want some knucklehead banging me up, because he didn't notice the signal.

I bought them from a guy in Germany that advertises on eBay.

As I have a 2008, which already had the LCI lights, (but with red turn signals), it was a direct swap. Remove four nuts per side, and the light pops right out. Swapped the bulb cluster, and reinstalled. Probably 15 minutes per side total, including cleaning the old lights and the frame of the car where the lights install.

Not sure what else would be required if you have a pre-LCI car.

$529 + $60 shipping from Frankfurt, but keep in mind, I didn't need cables or other mods.
r u selling your factory lights if so how much...
