did you ever do the doors?
the would trim in my car is the only thing i dont like about it. i have GOT to get rid of it... I can get the aluminum for about $600... im curious if i should just buy the aluminum or get mine painted sapphire black to match the exterior of my car... or is that too PT Cruiserish?

Seeing as Andy isn't chiming in, I'll answer... yes, he did do the doors as well.
You'll find more pics in his Gallery, click here
He also fitted the M5 shifter (see below). This car has so many great mods... and its damned fast as I found out the hard way at one of the European Meets

Andy - This trim looks AMAZING! I am now thinking about doing the same in my car. What a difference! Sporty and classy! Love it!

yeah, thanks guys - indeed, it's an easy and classy mod that offers something different - I especially like the change on the center trim.
I bought a used set on ebay and just had it custom color re-sprayed. The trims are relatively easy to change - some care is necessary for the door trims due to the airbags etc. I used BMW TIS (manual) as a reference as to how to replace everything (as well found on ebay btw).
Last note, it's worth finding a wood set, as they have an aluminium back support and are and feel quite sturdy. The standard sets have a bit of "plasticy" feel to them...
