My Ride: My 5 and I met on Father's Day 2008 and have been together ever since. 20" Wheels (Make TBD), premium package, sport package, AiB V3 upgrade and a Passport Escort 8500 Radar Detector.
I took advantage of the Thanksgiving Discount offered by CustomAngelEyes (angelibright.com) and purchased my white Aib's last weekend. Got a great deal and got the bulbs in about 4 or 5 days. A big thank you to Dave over @ AiB for taking care of me and answering my emails promptly!
Also a big thanks to Chi-Town Racing for the DIY instructions. Your post really helped out a lot. I printed it out and used it for install and reference when I started to have second thoughts on whether I was doing everything correctly.
DIY Instructions
Overall it took me about 2 hours to complete the process. That includes before and after pics and also having to retrieve a ratchet that fell down into the engine bay.
Here are some before and afters. The quality isn't that great but pretty decent considering I was in a parking garage:

and some in betweens...

I had been wanting to upgrade my AE's for a while now and was very satisfied with the end result. I highly recommend the AiB V3 and the DIY install.

2 hours?? Wow. haha
So you had stock or aftermarket AE before? I'm wondering if the AIB3 would be brighter than my current upgraded ones. They aren't very bright.

The AE's before the upgrade were stock.
I would try to find some side-by-side pics to help you with your decision.
