way too much $$
Get black - though I'd say matte black (or just let em get dirty) to go with your shadowline trim.
Try this place:
www.completeexhaust.com - he has a huge selection and ships very quick. You could just paint these black or probably have them powder coated for $15-20:

That AAA guy over here in LA is a scam artist!
I walked in there with everything (muffler, exhaust tips) all I needed to do was add piping/install.
The guy looked at me like I was made of money and straight up said "$500 for piping and install". For that price, I better have aluminum piping! Brought the guy down to $300. But it just goes to show you that if you don't bargain with these guys, they will take advantage of you just because you drive a BMW.

stick with the 3" in black. easier to keep clean
3.5" is not that obnoxious. those ginormous 6" tips on diesel pick up trucks are obnoxious! Especially when they take off from a light and belch an thick cloud of solid hydrocarbon all over the hood of your car

I have 3.5" quads and I think it looks a little strange.

Interesting. Pepe and crew installed the quads I bought from member socalm5mang for $250. I wonder why such a price variance?

$250 is fair as I thought $300 was fair too. I honestly have no idea why he gave you $250 off the bat... maybe I look "Richer" than you???
