Bought this BMW [5-Series] E60 (04-07) Smoked Taillight Film Kit from carcustomz. They claimed it's computer cut for E60, but the fact is, it'll never fit on to the taillight. I didn't find out until I stick the flim on to the taillight, because of that, I won't get any refund.

Well I had ordered some before deciding to paint mine. it was in a tube and all creased. I believe you are supposed to use a heat gun, have you tried doing this? It should shrink the tint...

I've actually purchased a lot of film from carcustomz and love their stuff. Here's the thing though... If you are not a professional tinter, I would not, repeat not, attempt to install any of their films yourself. Although they say you can, I would not recommend it. I attempted a job once and it didn't work out well. The last 3 times I've had a professional tinter install it and it's perfect.

I would actually recommend them. I use their film on my tails and on my headlight eyebrows.

Took it to my local tinter today, they said the film is actually smaller than the light itself and they can do nothing about it. The tricky thing is, the light has a plastic bit stick out, and that makes the film shorter. Can anyone tell me if my uk spec light is different to us spec car?

What the shop did was, cut a small slit (indicated in red) to solve that bulge.

I had the same problem. The film does NOT account for that bulge. I used heat gun etc., this did not help. Film still ended up being short at the edges. My fault for not noticing and asking about that ridge... their fault for claiming to have a laser fit. Most of my bimmer friends use http://lamin-x.com. Never used them personally. I have decided to just tint the blinker and reverse light... and leave the brake light red.

I would stray away from carcustomz.com
I purchased some film from them through my paypal account.
Never recieved my tinted film, no reponse from my emails, there listed phone number is a bad number.
Finally got my refund back today from paypal.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Hrmm... seems like a 50/50 chance with carcustomz.
