I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny. 2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter. I think the white would look good with a black car.
I haven't seen neons on a car in person (only photos) but i think it could work if it were a white neon. It could be used similar to the puddle lights, when you unlock the car, the lights come on.
