Check out the pic below before you make your decision. i know that the kidney grill is a staple of the E60 nose but you have to admit that the mesh completes a smooth uniform look.

I think if it was black mesh and the chrome was painted the color of your car it would look good.

I like the darker mesh better than the SS but still prefer BMW grills...

On a dark color with a blacked out grill In my own opinion the picture you've provided makes it look like you've added a screen door ... sorry but I just don't like the look.
