Hi all,
My E60 is now having the stock style 122 rims on, I'm thinking to get a set of bigger aftermarket rims.
I was thinking to get a set of O.Z. Superleggera III, they are 3pcs forged rims and I am going to get the size of 18" 245/40 for the front and 275/35 for the back.
Do you think the size is too small as a upgrade? If I get 19" or 20", I'm worrying about the ride quality, as I'm going to get marry in a few months and don't know if I am going to have a baby before I get my next car.
What do you guys think? I need some input from you all.

Nice looking OZ rims! I plan on getting new rims next year for summer and use my 138s for winter only. I was looking at the BMW 124s but like your choice very much. Where will you purchase them from and by the way, where are you located?
IMO 18" wheels are quite big enough and look good on the E60. Others have different opinions but I would stick with the 18s.

I think you get a good balance of looks, comfort and performance with 18s or 19s.
The superleggeras look good, but not sure if they come in the correct offset for the 5 series.

I've checked w/ a Wheel shop in Hong Kong and they are giving me a deal on the 18" w/ tires for around $3200USD.
At this price, I can more or less get a set of 19" ACS Type IV or 19" Hamann HM2 w/ some change. However, I was worry about the ride comfort (roads in Hong Kong are crapy). And I was thinking modular wheels looks more classy, right?

I do like the HM2s, but they are a bit common. The superleggeras are nice as well, but once again, I don't think they have a fitment for the five series. One thing I found is that wheels that look good on other cars, even BMWs, may not flatter the e60 in the same way.

Those O.Z. Superleggera III look great.
17 or 18 should be perfect for what I am looking for.
I am trying to avoid the 19-20 because I am afraid the noise willl be uncofortable for me.
