This is the same picture from my other post...
I know it is a vent hose from the Crankshaft Cover but the picture on RealOEM looks nothing like this hose....so I don't trust the part number....
When i google they seem to be pretty cheap so i'd like to buy this myself...

When I changed out my valve gaskets, the cover fell and hit this hose...the thing literally just snapped off with an insane precision...
My indie mech just told me that years of fumes tend to make these vent hoses very brittle and susceptible to this...
Anyways...the post I had said about steam/smoke, on top of some odd behavior while driving (all of which may have been in my head) like less smooth shifting, lack of power, the burning rubber smell ...just a general combination of all of that made me think something may be wrong...but really ... this hose being held together with duct tape was really the only problem i knew of with my car...
soooo...fingers crossed...i just purchased the part and hopefully i can fix this myself and put my mind to ease....
