I got a problem with them! ...they are a lot cheaper than the Nitto 555's I have now I could of saved some money

EDIT: looks like they have my front specs but not 275/30/20...is this correct?
Yes. For 20's, your only options are Nitto or Toyos.

Took to the twisties at the Norcal Meet this past weekend, and I found the GE tires to be okay. Even though my Toyo T1Rs provided ZERO rim protection, they had superior traction than the GE UHP when it came to the turns.
Agreed.

I thought the General tires basically sucked for "performance" tires. In the twisties they were no good. I could over push the car with the tires and the stock suspension.

There will certianly be a different set on my Dinan wheels.

Damn, I need a 4wd M5 Touring....

I had General UHP on the front and they was perfectly fine through those twisties last weekend. Probably, I checked my tire pressure, unloaded some load from my bodie , and remove spare tires

I agree the tires aren't that great in the twisties. However, for 95% daily driving, they are perfect.

I have to agree that these are not super performance tires. They are great for someone who is looking for a quiet ride, and especially great to provide a softer ride. I cannot tell a great difference between my 19" GEs and my 17" Contis (which I switch a bit). To have a 19" tire perform that comfortably is a great thing.

I give them great traction ratings for wet driving, and they have great wear.

If you are track driving, there are probably other good options.
For my day to day city and highway driving, I am very happy with the tires.

I had ordered Generals earlier this week -- after seeing some of the comments in this tread I started having second thoughts since I will take my car to the track sometimes. Must be fate -- got a call this morning that the Generals were on backorder so I needed to make another choice or wait another week or so. I'm going with Kumho SPT's now, so will see how it works out. These are still not the best for the track and I think the General would have been as good or better for 95% of my driving, but I am really looking forward to a track day on June 8 and the Kumhos will probably be a little better for that.
