Did a search, but can I get some feedback from owners? How do these compare to, say, PS2s?
Not even the same ballpark? Comparable?
Not even the same ballpark? Comparable?
These tires are rated pretty good, prob not as good as the PS2's but I bet they are 95% as good. Tire Rack buyers have them rated number 1. Specs and reviews make these tires look AWESOME for the money. Prob the best bang for the buck.

That's why I bought em--price performers.
And as a summer set of tires, they should be fine.
Plus the general scuttlebutt here is that they're pretty damn good--so we'll see.
Looking for ACTUAL user opinions....tough to compare against like the PS2, which I think is basically the standard-bearer.

I got them, and I really love them. Changed up to 240's from 225' and they grip like crazy; grips to every slight camber change in the road.

I love the tires on my 19" #166s.
They do very well with wet traction. They are very quiet on asphault. They are a little noisier on cement.
In light of costs, I would always choose them over PS2s for the way that I drive (lots of highway driving).
I am not sure that you will find many here who have tried both. It is kind of a bipolar approach. If you are willing to pay for anything, you will get PS2s. If you want a good quality tire at a reasonable price, you will get UHPs.
I have yet to hear a single complaint on UHPs.
Best,
Richard

Took to the twisties at the Norcal Meet this past weekend, and I found the GE tires to be okay. Even though my Toyo T1Rs provided ZERO rim protection, they had superior traction than the GE UHP when it came to the turns.
