Need recommendation on powdercoating oem 166's
After thinking about changing new rims long and hard i decided to keep my 166's but i will be powdercoating them a different color. Any recommendations for a titan gray e60?
I was thinking hyperblack or the powdercoater recommended on getting them the e39 m5 rim color
What does everyone think?Opinions? Thanks

Hyperblack would look mean. Also gunmetal would look classic!

This was a custom, gunmetal powder that I had to special order. It took an extra week just to get this powder in. Although it looks dark, it's definitely got a charcoal/graphite hue to it. I think it looks great. Black would have been fine too, but this changes it up a little. It also brings out all the Carbon Fiber accents on my car. I normally hate the 166 wheels, as most on this forum know
, but the powdercoating definitely made a difference. If you get a custom powder, only go with PRISMATIC Powders. They are considered the best. Your Powdercoat place should have their brochures with all their color samples on hand. This is what I did.
