My KDW 2 with fire patern came to the end of their life. I had them on the car when I bought it. I was searching for a good quiet tire that last long, between $100-170 per tire, and has a good grip. These BFG g-Force T/A KDW 2 grip like crazy, and have like on rails steering feel, love it, but they very loud. I have active steering on my car and did not drive a car with different tires other then this one, so I do not know if i feel like on rails ride because of tires, or active steering, or both. I did some research and even looked on ebay for tires with 80-90% thread left to replace on the budget, but found few that were to worn out, so no point of getting, found GoodYear F1 All Season, but read they are loud, also found SP9000 Dunlop, but read they do not last long. The one I am thinking about is General Exclaim UHP that got great reviews. I live in FL, so not sure if I want summer or all season. I want it to last, be quiet, and grip. New Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S are the ones I thought of getting but they are a bit on the expensive side. Any suggestions?

my budget is under $180 per tire. Both of those Nitto and Falken are more, for that price I can get P Zero Nero M&S, even the ones I have on now KDW 2's.. I want something cheaper.. General ones still might be my first choice.. Anyone else? Also what is the best place to buy tires price wise, tire rack almost always has better deals then anywhere else..

I have always liked General tires....the tread does not burn off on them at all.

I have pirelli P6's for winter and i just put on Bridgestone Potenze re760 Sports today. They arent bad, my first impressions were they were a little louder, more precise in turning and overall better grip. I was looking at getting the general exclaims uhp and the pirelli pzero but decided not to. My only concern with pirellis is their wearing. My P6's have worn pretty quick and ive heard pirelli has a soft compound which makes them wear quicker.

Installed Sumitomo HTRZ III's on my 545 about two weeks ago. Love them. Car used to pull on uneven pavement on my Dunlops and now the section of road that used to cause me problems isn't even noticable any longer. Excellent grip, low noise and reasonably priced.
