Well.... getting anything other than Michelin is like buying generic.

subterFUSE,
Since you live in Florida I would really suggest Bridgestone Potenza RE050A NORMAL NON-RUNFLAT. These are, IMO, the best tyres for dry handling and steering response. They are also the standard tyres on the Ferrari Enzo . I have tried Potenzas on my Alfa 156 for 4 years, they were more than brilliant in the dry, but not as good as the OEM Michelins in the wet.
I have the RE050As on another car and so far I am quite pleased with them, but think there are better tires in the dry. Something like the BFG T/A KD or the Yokohama ADVAN AD07 would offer better dry performance.

Also the tires on the enzo are not the regular RE050As. I believe they use an advanced "scuderia version."

Hey SubterFUSE I also live in orlando fl and drive around a lot in WinterPark. Still keeping an eye out to check out your HOT E60. Would Love to see it in person. Ever go to Fields Saturdays to get your car washed?

I do.... I bought my car there.... and I go REALLY early for washes, to avoid the crowd.

I have been out of town for a few months. Won't be back until after the new year.

Look out for me after then, though.

The car comes with metal valve caps right?

Just got back from the tire shop to find they replaced them with rubber caps. I'd go back right now, but they're closed.
