Default Need new flywheel and clutch, to Dinan or not to Dinan that's the question?

I have a 07 550i six speed, I burned the clutch out and most likely need a new flywheel as well ( waiting to get it on the lift to make sure), I'm debating on upgrading to the dinan lightweight flywheel and clutch, mainly because of the 15% off sale going on now ?? Is it worth the extra 1000 or so?...

If not Dinan is there another upgraded assembly I should consider, or should I just stick with oem?

I have no experience with dinan, but you can't go wrong with oem.

Just an update, I decided to get the Dinan flywheel and clutch, while I was at it I went ahead and got the Dinan free flow exhaust, I get my baby back Tuesday hope to post pics and sound clips soon after.

@onetime - very true about oem, but I just felt I wanted a change in the clutch and I didn't want to do a cdv delete just yet.

I ordered my mods at my local Dinan dealer (Continential Imports), u can order the same things from the Dinan website, the flywheel and clutch comes as an assembly unit, I needed a new clutch and after seeing the flywheel I figured it would be best to go ahead and change it and not have to pay the labor again later on down the road, so I never really inqured about a standalone flywheel, I paid about $2500 for the whole assembly (I took advantage of thier annual sale, and I decided to buy the exhaust as well, for an extra grand) plus about 8 hours to install, and about an hour and a half for the exhaust.

Dinan Cars - Lightweight Flywheel and Clutch Assembly - Manual/SMG (6/06-3/07)

And just in case a link for the exhaust
Dinan Cars - Free Flow Exhaust (Thru 2/07)

Ill let u know how I feel about spending the extra cash after I get it back
