I recently got the LED license plate bulbs (url above), I installed them and they work perfectly. But the iDrive keeps telling me there malfunction with my plate lights. Does anyone know where I can get the warning cancelators. Is not a big deal it just gets a bit annoying from time to time.

I have a module that cancels the errors and stops the Strobing of the LEDs. Contact me if you are interested.

Do you have to cut the wires to install these?

No sir. Just use those two resistors and tape into the + and - section. There's another DIY somewhere. I did a step further and soldered the pieces onto the positive and negative so that it doesn't get loose.

You mean just wrap the metal wires on the resistor around either wire on the cable for the license plate lights?

Is 1ohm enough to cancel the error? I bought a pair of 1ohm resistors yesterday.
