Hello,

I recently purchased the OEM M6 wheels from a local dealer. Can someone please let me know what tire sizes do I need? The dealer told me that the OEM M6 wheels are perfect fit for the 5 series (same lug bolts, sizes, and etc) and told to use 245/35/19 (front) & 275/30/19 (rear). Can someone please confirm whether what he said is true?

Is it possible to use 245/35/19 & 285/30/19? I'd like to have more tire wall for better protection and comfort. Will larger tire size causes any problems such as rubbing and etc...?

Thanks.

Either sizes will work, but i would go with the 275 in the rear since the M6 offset is more aggressive. Vince.

How can i tell which offset do I have? Are all M6 wheels have same offset? I looked at the RealOEM.com it seems like they have ET:12, 17, and 22.

which offset is the right one for the 5 series? I would be really appreciated if you could point out for me...

I think I was confused at first !!! So here is what I have understood so far after researching the forum.

I purchased the 167M wheels. I am not sure whether the wheels i bought are the M5 or M6 offset. I will have to call the guy up tomorrow. I am very sure he will allow me to exchange it if the one I bought does not fit.

M6 (E63) - 8,5 x 19 Front (ET 12) and 9,5 x 19 Rear (ET 17)

M5 (E60) - 8,5 x 19 Front (ET 12) and 9,5 x 19 Rear (ET 28)

SO, Can someone please tell me which Offset is the right one for the e60 5 series. Do I need to install any spacer to make it fit perfectly? Please let me know

You're good to go with M6 offset. No spacers needed.
Welcome aboard BTW.

So,

If my wheels are M6 (E63) - 8,5 x 19 Front (ET 12) and 9,5 x 19 Rear (ET 17).

I am good to go? does that mean that the M5 offset won't work in this case

M5 offset will work but you'll need spacers. I have M5 offset that's why I have a pair of 12mm spacers at the rear.
