OP: If you do decide to go with a JB3, keep an eye on the clasiffied section on e90posts and N54tech.com
you might be able to pick up a slightly used one for a good price. I've noticed a few more going up FS on those sites as the GIAC flash has just been released
you really won't need the BT with the jb3, only with the jb+ you'd need it to scan and delete codes.
you could always try and find a member local to you that has a BT and pay him/her for a scan as needed. Again, e90posts regional forums is a good place to find someone....

thanks for all the input, I think I'm going to go with the M5tech kit as Umnitiza is running a special where he is shipping the bumpers and has already pre-arranged painting at one of the best shops in the Tri-State area. jcool101081, you have PM regarding the jb3....I might get yours too....
