My Ride: 2008 535xi Touring - KW Var 3 Coilovers, VMR V710 20x9" wheels, Falken 452 245/35/19" Tires, OEM M5 Front Bumper, OEM M5 Front Fenders, OEM M5 Mirrors, Hamman Style CF Front Lip, Matte Black Kidney Grills, 20% Tint, B&W BMW Roundels.

Couple of questions ...

1) There are part numbers list for painted bumper on realoem.com .... anyone order one? or did everyone just get the primed one and have it painted?

2) There is a under tray listed. Any buy this? or will the stock under tray work? I know when I went from stock bumpers to M-tech on my 335i the stock under tray didnt work. As I was wondering if the M5 under tray will work with a different motor (I have a 535xi and thought the clearances might not be the same)

2) I didnt bought the tray since it was more 300? and i dicided to order everything besides the tray and try it out to see how it would work it turned out pretty good , at least in my point of view so i ended up not buying it but for a full full perfect job you need to buy it

Since we are on it here are some pics of the car with everything done (they were taken with the cellphone so cut me some slack )

Next step is to lower the car, has you can see is way to high...

I am still looking for the best choice in terms of suspention

Regards

Looks great! I would go with KWs for suspension as I had them on my last BMW and they are well worth every penny.

Also one last question ... did you buy all the screws and clips and such? as they where not listed on the parts list on the last page.

Ok guys I got the list competed for the front bumper along with hardware .... now Im working on the compete parts list for the fenders. Here is the image that comes up on REALOEM:

Link: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...70&hg=41&fg=10

West was nice enough to post his parts list:

51-71-7-896-839 - Front Left Fender Liner - $78.47
51-71-7-896-840 - Front Right Fender Liner - $78.47
41-35-7-898-315 - Side Panel Fender Right - $384.22
41-35-7-898-316 - Side Panel Fender Left - $384.22
51-13-7-896-849 - Side Vent Grille Right - $80.40
51-13-7-896-850 - Side Vent Grille Left - $80.40

But I dont see any fender brackets listed on the list. Are there not any?

If you look at the realoem diagram part #24 looks like a bracket ... but its listed as "BRACKET COVERING WHEEL HOUSING FR. RIGHT" but is only list for the right side of the car. No left side bracket?

Last but not least I realized if you buy the aftermarket vents for the fenders you can save money (ie matte black ones are $80 for the set or Carbon fiber ones I saw for around $120)
