Ok so I decided I am going to buy a Borla XS muffler but I need to know which size I need.
There are 5 models to choose from, each with different sizes.
Here is the link

Of the 5 options, the "Centered/Dual" seems to be right muffler for the job, just make sure it is the same diameter piping as the stock inlet!
BTW, is there some reason you are not going for the RPI???

You don't even know how much I would like the RPI but I just can't afford it.

Is there a way to make it sound better in the higher RPM's?
A friend of mine has a Magnaflow Muffler with new piping on his X5 and it sounds MEAN.

Magnaflow does sound mean, just dont do quad, i think thats where the powerloss is happening. Take out the reasonators, put in a magnaflow muffler and you will be happy. Checkout the videos of different exhausts on youtube!

I want a clean, refined sound, that is still growly.
I think RPI will be perfect. And all of the positive feedback suggests the same.
