This is my first post. Greetings from Macedonia,
I'm reading this forum for a while but I haven't joined till now.

I'm ordering 525 or 530i with sport package, and the other thing that is not yet decided is whether I shoud go for rims 124 od 135. The color will be Silver Gray, althought Carbon Black looks cool also, but don't want to lose the beautiful exterior shape.

Please tell me your experience and advice, and post some pictures with rims 135 especially with Silver Gray(if you have). I have seen rims 124 many times.

Also is there a big difference in power between 525i and 530i? Noticable in everyday use?

Regards
Combson

Obviously it is purely down to individual preference, but I like my 135's....

i think that you should go for the 135 wheels. I haven't drive the 525 with the 218 hp engine but the 530i with the 258 hp engine and i say if you have the option to chose, go for the 530!

I'd go for the style 135 myself. In fact, I will be ordering my set shortly to go on my Silver Gray 545, so you can see I am totally unbiased!

135's are great, but cleaning...especially the narrow spokey bits. I understand the 124's have wider rears, which looks better from the rear. Plus cleaning may be easier...

I have owned both and the 124's look much better from the back as they have 275 tyres. The 135's have 245's all round but can be spaced out to look better. The 135's look the best though. Have you thought about 172's? They look fab

Hey Merv, Have you noticed any ride or handling differences between 18" wheels and 19" wheels on your 535d? Also, did you add spacers for your 19 inchers?

Yes I have. The 135's fitted with Goodyear run flats offered a better ride than my original cars 124's with Dunlops. However the ride with 19" non runflat Continentals on my 172's is the best. Very noticable at slow speed. The very reason why the M5 uses non runflats.
