Default need a battery

My 07 530 battery has died. Just had it checked. So the battery is the big battery in the trunk. Called BMW and its 290 bucks. Anyone know where I can find a better price

Just replaced mine with an Autozone H8-DLG. Its a little shorter, but the factory battery hold down clamp has multiple positions to screw into. The second one in fits this battery. Similar specs to the BMW battery and the factory vent tube can be used. Three year free replacement, with out to eight year pro rated replacement.

Get the one with the black case, it's an updated model. The store I got it from also had the older style with the white case.

$136.00

my battery just died 2 weeks, went to the dealer and wasted my time...told be the battery would be $380 here in vancouver,

picked up a battery from NAPA instead for $150, haven't had it registered yet, but works great so far. Just make sure the battery is similar in spec.

Registering the battery is an issue with much disagreement, I haven't registered my autozone battery since I replaced it a year ago and haven't had any issues. Most of these batteries come with a 2-4 yr warranty anyway.

You really do want to register it, it resets the calibration for charging and discharging the battery and will improve the life and output of the battery.

I got mine done for $171 at the dealership. But like some guys said you might have a indy shop do it for cheaper.
