No you havent asked that I've seen.

Here are some print screens:
Go here and read up and learn that the e60 does not have self-leveling. Many knowledgeable people here on e60.net have already chimed in as well that the e60 does not have self-leveling yet you keep insisting it does. You even say the Sport package e60s have self-leveling here. I have the Sport package on my 545i. I've switched out my suspension three times now. I didn't see any self-leveling parts. You know what I saw? Stock springs and shocks.

As far as the proof you posted, that's just more misinformation. Go to realoem for accurate info: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?mode...hg=33&fg=45

How can you tell a car has active steering (AS)? I have AS and you always need to get an alignment after changing the suspension. The price for an alignment will vary from dealer to dealer. I have heard these prices for an alignment with AS: $199, $225, $250, $299, $560. One dealership gave me two different prices from two SAs. Buncha crooks.

Yeah, 525iEnjoy and stop PM'ing with your drama. You have CLEARLY been proven wrong with VT's post above.

Your post#2, 4 & 14 in this thread say's it all :

SELF-LEVELING THREAD

"when you lock and unlock ure car do you hear any noise comming from the front of the vehicle like a winding noise?"

"if you hear that noise than your car has self leveling suspension"

"If you have sport suspension you'll have self leveling in the rear."

uummmmm...NO.

I have that same exact winding noise you're referring to after unlocking my car PLUS Sports Pkg. (in which you claim equals having self-leveling)...I don't have self-leveling. You also had the nerve to PM out of the blue (along with other BS) and write 'go ahead and f*ck up your car if you want with a grain of salt'...yeah, because I'm reading YOUR freakin' posts. Stop pulling meaningless crap out of your ass and get facts straight before you present it. Your PM has me infuriated, it's good for you that you have your PM's blocked or whatever POS.

Thanks Vegatrashed, im gonna shop around.

i taught if you had the the sport package it automatically had active steering . if you have the shadowline trim most of the times it means that you have the sport package, unless it was replaced after the purchase of the car.

Here is the history with Active Steering (AS):
1. 2004 e60s had AS as an option.
2. 2005 e60s with Sport package, AS came as standard equipment.
3. 2006 e60s and later, AS was once again an option.

I love AS but it's a hassle when needing an alignment and running 20" wheels.

It's been awhile, but I think 1 and 2 may be switched around. AS was coupled with the SP in '04 and became an option in '05+

Heezy,
It might be that AS was available as standard equipment for both 2004 and 2005 e60s with Sport package, then in 2006 was made an option. I know that EuroCarFan's 2004 545i Sport and freed0m's 2005 545i Sport both have AS.
