Busta i would go with the coilovers, i did and i am very happy with them and can be adjusted exactly where you want them i think i paid 1400 for the set and dealer installed 600 i know a little more that you might want to spend but you will be very happy H&R coilovers rock check out my gallery on bbs hand and hand

Coilovers is obviously the best choice but a tad out of my price range for lowering. I have an appointment tuesday for the lowering..ill post pics when complete.

How much did you lower your car with the coilovers, what's the ride like, and finally how much body roll did it get rid of? Oh yeah, and did you put the H&R sway bars on it too?

Heiss i am not sure i lowered it to the look of the sport modle e60, ride is fabulous no bobing or bouncing even over contiuous bumps as far as body roll or lean in coners abousoultly neutral very little lean or roll, also got rid of the famous windy twitch also. By the seat of the pants experieance i made the correct choice. No i dont have the swaybar on the car and the ride in no stiffer than it was stock

Wink

Alright guys...here are the pics as promised. H&R sport springs installed on a non-sport E60.

(thanks again to steve@trendix for the installation)

I waited a few days to post these pics, I wanted to report on the ride quality. The ride quality obviously has suffered a bit..a bit more bouncy compared to stock (of course). I expected the ride quality to take a bigger hit than it did..its acceptable. Having a lower center of gravity really helps in the twisties A even trade off for the performance and look upgrade.

I'm happy with this suspension mod.

Thanks again for all the feedback and comments

Next mods are: M5 front bumper/side skirts and shadow line external trim
