What's going on people,

I was ordering some Breyton Spirits in 19's but TireRack is telling me that the dimensions should be 19 x 9 (front) and 19x10 (rear). I don't have any trouble regarding the rear but doesn't 19 x 9 sound too wide for the front?!? Going through a lot of your profiles, I see that a lot of you guys (and gals) have 8.5 in the front so I'm worried that these 9's will rub. Am I just being paranoid?!? TireRack says that they don't come in 8.5 and the guy says that he just inputs the make/model of the car and his program tells him what sizes are optimal for these rims! Before you guys make any suggestions, please know that my car is a 530i Sport that is also going to be lowered with Eibach springs so rubbing is a concern. Thanks fellas.

I've seen quite a few guys on here with 19 or 20 x 9's in the front. I think the majority of rubbing problems stems more from the rears than the fronts.

I have been going through the same thing and the only 9 inch fronts I have in my notes are an AC Schnitzer - 9,0J x 20 offset 22 -- 255/30 R 20 and a Style 149 9 x 20 -- 245/40 R 20 unknown offset.

I am also having trouble convincing a German aftermarket dealer that 275's will fit on the back - something to do with the T?V documents.

Well, I thought the same thing but, after some scanning, I noticed that most of the people on this forum who have 9 in. in the front have 20's, not 19's. Does this matter?

I think I'll be okay in the rear with 19 x 10's.

As iam planning on buying the same wheels & probaly getting them from the rack as well, Ive noticed that on the internet they are 19x9 for the fronts & 19x9.5 for the rears not 19x10.

Though they look good, those breyton spirits are some heavy mofos. Not sure if it's a concern of yours, but you'll probably notice it in your acceleration.

look to me Hamann mentioned:

front: 8,5Jx19 tyre 245/35ZR19
rear: 10,0Jx19 tyre 275/30ZR19

so I think they would only suggest normal things that is good for your car and you too. They are pros.

Geez, I never thought about that!!! I guess I just assumed that most aftermarket rims would be at least lighter than stocks. I wonder how I can find out?
