Hi,
I'm downloading the Navigation DVD 06-02 with BitTorrent since three days. The speed is 13kb/s
Doesn't matter, I have plenty of time.
When I burn the *.iso Image on a DVD and replace our original DVD with the downloaded one, can the dealer somehow find out that there was a downloaded DVD active? Of course I'll insert the original DVD when the car has to go to the dealer
I hope you undestand my concern,
regards,
sese

I don't think so. I don't even think you need to worry about switching it while in for service -- I use a backup copy of my original DVD (so the original doesn't get damaged, lost, stolen, etc.) and leave it in the drive all the time...

Okay, I have already burned the *.iso Image on DVD+R. But it doesn't seem to work. The screen says "Put in DVD". Do I maybe need a DVD-R instead of a DVD+R?
Could you please tell me what DVD type and manufacturer you use?
Thanks a lot

I have used Memorex DVD +RW with good results.
Apologies if this is a silly question - but may I assume you have burned the files in the ISO image, not the ISO itself?

No, I burned the Image with Nero on the DVD, not the iso file

(the text says: "On Sunday 28 November, he will vote. It would be a good idea if you voted as well.")
BTW - FWIW, I tried with DVD-R (Imation - cheap brand) with no success, though it did recognise the object inserted as a nav disk.

Can you post the torrent file ?
1. It's 4 GB
2. It's easily downloadable by getting a (free) torrent client, such as bitLord or eDonkey
3. It's kind of illegal...
