My Ride: 2006 E60 530i

i have the 2006 530i... n52 engine...
i added afe intake , upsolute (german) remap, remus exhaust, eibach springs, rpi scoop
listen bro.. honestly i did the above just out of hobby i never intend to do upgrades and then race someone... its just for fun these tunes.. but in the end the n52 is already a maxed out engine...
if i were u i would save up for either a 335i or an m3 (since u seem to like the 3 series).... a decently tuned 335i can outrun a stock m3 and with a methanol injection kit (safer than nitrous oxide) can become the only beast on the street.... so its up to you i guess

understandable what you are saying. im not planning on racing anyone (unless someone deserves it...) but i want the car to not just look the part but also run like it looks. i still need to add the afe intake but im waiting to get back to the states. where did you do the upsolute remap??? what did it do to the car and was also wondering if you have dyno your car. do you know if all that brought the car up in power and if so how much. cuz thats what im thinking to do next is a remap.

You probably should start looking for a different car. The N52 is not going to take you where you want to go. It's a good engine, I like mine a lot - but it's not going anywhere serious beyond stock power.

+1...Unless you have a N52 525i, you can convert it to a 530i and that's about it. Other than that there are full engine mods that involve boring the cylinders bigger and using bigger pistons but at the price involved, you might as well get another car.
