My Ride: 2006 550i...Black/Auburn, Premium Pkg, Comfort Access, Cold Weather Pkg, Active Steering, Heated Rear Seats
So I purchased reconditioned M6 wheels from a local company that I do business with. I got a great deal and they look great. I was originally told that they were OEM but after looking into it a little more it turns out that they made a mistake. These wheels are actually reconditioned replica's. They told me that I can return these and wait for a set of OEM's, however it will probably be a while before they get any in stock. So i decided that I will put these on the car tomorrow and see if they fit without needing spacers or rings. If they are good then I will keep them, if not, return and wait. I have two questions...
1. Can I tell if the wheels are hub-centric without mounting the tires and driving it? Or will I be able to tell right when I put them on.
2. Should I just be patient and wait for some OEM's? or will I be fine with these replicas
thanks
P.S...the finish looks great and the wheels feel pretty light.

IMO, you paid for OEM's not replica's. I would wait for the OEM's. It's worth the wait. GL with your decision.

- If you paid alot, than demand some OEM rims ASAP, or get a refund.
- If you got a killer deal, and the wheels are in perfect condition, than keep it.

yea.. pretty annoying. I did get them for pretty cheap so if I end up with them I'll still be happy. But I think OEM is worth the wait
I like the way you are thinking, worth the wait . Great choice with style 167's
