How can you have that kind of a gap with a stock sports suspension? That worries me because if I get my koni shocks and H&R spring kit its probably going to just look like your car which I dont' want! No offense. I don't like seeing a big gap.
im with you man, i didn't expect to see that with my suspension. does anyone else with the 166 have this issue?

Mine also has bigger gap at the rear than the front. Rear has no 12mm spacers though. Do you think that might help?

Edit: Lightened pictures for better contrast.

rizbel,
thanks for the reference i thought yours was dropped. i guess youre not having any rubbing issues? do other members use higher profile tires for both f and r? the front doesnt have much of a gap, i'd like the rear too look just as close...

If you get H&R springs + Koni shocks, your car will be lower than the stock sport suspension.

Maybe those Prairie roads have softened the suspension or springs ??

My very first post on this forum.... so pls be kind

I just bought those 166's (M5 offset +15mm f & r) for my 530i '06 non-sport. I absolutely love the 166's and I got a great deal on the set. Now I am curious if these will rub on a non-sport suspension 530i? I don't like gaps either but very wary to lower the car... so may want to stick to stock suspension awhile... Do all of you with 166's have any issues with the rim or tire setup? I'd really like to know. I am having mine installed tomorrow... Cannot wait...

Pics of your 166 with/without drop would be nice to see.... And once mine goes on, I'll post pics of my ride as well...
