interesting......I'm thinking about picking up a set of the 167 rims with the M6 offsets this week and was pretty sure that all the wheel guys on here said these would work (with the right tires). Just curious, but I'm buying the rims used.....what should it say inside the rim to ensure that it's OEM and not a knockoff. Also, does it say the offset somewhere inside the rim?

Thanks and good luck!

yeah there are some numbers in there. if you check out www.realoem.com you should find the p/n, and i don't think the whole part number is inside the rim.

I finally got my 166s mounted! Thanks Garry for the rims and fast shipment! I got the Falken 452s, 245/35 front and 275/30 rear.

I noticed the driving is smoother compared to the runflats. now i don't have to say ouch when i hit some bumps on the road

Another thing I noticed was that my tires rub when I hit a hump in the road. Any of you 166 owners experience this? I have the sport package and thought it shouldn't do that with these rims and tires. Let me know if there's something wrong.

Other than that I love them!!

Here are some pix
Rob.....

Looks really good, congrats on your purchase, and I see you went with the Falkens. Nice choice...... I am sure youre excited, the rims looks so good up close and personal!

I got your PM, thats strange as I havent noticed any rubbing issues on my car AND I have my car dropped, so I am not sure why you would be experiencing rubbing, maybe someone else with your set up can chime in, but I havent heard anyone else that rubs with the tire wheel combo you choose.

As for wheel locks, I dont have them on my car, as there's not need for them, Denver is not like Houston. (plus I have a garage so it helps) However try doing a search for "Bull Lock" brand as they are pretty good.

Anyway your car looks sharp, keep it up!

How can you have that kind of a gap with a stock sports suspension? That worries me because if I get my koni shocks and H&R spring kit its probably going to just look like your car which I dont' want! No offense. I don't like seeing a big gap.
