Get a Dinan exhaust, they match the BMW warranty.

Not looking to spend another fortune. I want new wheels and money needs to go there. How is Dinan muffler only? I love the magnaflow I've been hearing on other's cars. Havent heard Dinan yet.

I'm just glad I have a good dealer. My SA complemented me on how the new exhaust sounded.

And there is no way changing the muffler should cause the catalytic converter problems -- and if the cat went bad for some reason, the burden of proof would be on them to show the aftermarket exhaust caused the failure.

You told your SA you're doing an aftermarket exhaust outside of Dinan? Nice going numbnuts.

Not sure what she is talking about??? You can get a Euro 4(very high quality) cat for under $40. If the exhaust if the only thing that would be affected by the upgrade I would do it without even thinking twice.

+1. no worries about a bolt on or welded muffler.
