Congrats on your new wheels!!!! I feel the same way about mine....when I put my 166's on I couldnt stop looking on how deep they bend in...they are a really great designed wheel! In CO M5 are very rare, and E60 members even more rare, so folks here dont get to see these wheels that often, so I am always getting stares......its great!
Thanks, same in Ohio, M5s are very rare, and E60 members are even more rare. Only member I know of is four hours away in Cleveland. I am guessing the rarity in Ohio is why the guys at the tire store couldn't stop drooling.

Your car looks great. Thinking of doing the same..... I am looking at how the car sits and the space between tire and fende.... it looks like it has not been lowered... correct?

Car looks great! Picture I see..... has it been lowered or is it stock (looking at distance between top of tire and the edge of fender).

Today I had my new OEM 166 wheels mounted on new tires (bought locally because these guys do me a ton of favors). Dropped her off early morning. A couple hours later they called and said there was a small nick in one of the wheels & they didn't want to proceed until I took a look. I go back to the tire shop thinking oh man, how much is this going to cost me to ship this wheel back to Garry at BMW of Newport, not to mention the hassle. I get there and three guys eagerly show me the wheel. A minor nick at that. If they wouldn't have called me I would have never know. Nice to have a tire place that cares so much about their customers.

A few hours later I go back to pick the car up. A customer with a very old Triumph TR7 is there, just got his car out of storage. I am excited to see this 70s something car, and he said he has been admiring my new shoes on my 550i. The mechanics are loading up my old wheels & tires, well not that old, only 13,000 miles on them, and are drooling all over the car. Just joking, but one of them says oh can I please have your car for the night, I could pick up lots of chicks. It's V-Day. The other one says, after we installed the new wheels & tires we all just stood there and looked at the car for 30 minutes.

What a great day to own a BMW
