It's about the offsets and tire sizes. For a 9x20 up front a et16-18 will clear the inner strut and not let the tires rub the front fender. The front tires can be the same as the op or I run a 245/30-20 up front. The rear offsets for a 11x20 would need to be et32-35 to work. Also good that you are doing shocks and springs vs just springs.
