Your second !!! If I have to go through this again (L4-S1 fused) I will shoot myself. I'm trying work myself off the percs and get my ass back to work, while I still have a job. Working from home only goes so far...

Yup, I actually am Fusing L4 now as well. I had L5-S1 done first....it just keeps creaping up my spine...my dr is really big into vitamin C and has all his employees, patients, and nurses using high doses of it, and in a huge percentage (I'd say around 90%) he has seen pain levels decrese...vitamin c builds collagen, which is what disks are made of....I'm up to taking around 8k milligrams a day...it can't hurt, plus I feel great, and don't get hungover, sick, etc. haha...A lot of dr's think its retarded but there is a lot of literature out there, and it makes sense to me...my disks are breaking down, may as well take a supplement to help build them up...I only started like 3 months ago on the regimen, I had this surgery planned 6 months ago....
