Great job, great car. Just one question. As the price difference between the 550i and the M5 is not big why didn't you buy an M5?
In terms fo the "small" delta between the 550 and the M5 I guess $30,000.00 as a delta is only not that much for some people...for me, when I think of this small difference I see a 20' ski boat. Needless to say, I decided on the ski boat instead - see you in delta!!!

Great job! Very impressive and that DINAN exhaust just looks absolutely delicious! I also think you should leave off the side gills, some how they're just a true signature piece for the ///M5s and ///M6s. But hey what the hell do I know, it's your car!

...to me, this is the perfect sound to complement the V8.

I just want to share where my project is at. Everything is installed by me except 166 wheels and tires. Let's go from front to back of the car:
Exterior:
1. M5 front bumper -> Done.
2. The 166 OEM wheel (285 rear and 245 front) -> Done
3. ///M side skirts/sills -> Done
4. Dinan's Exhaust and then make it quad -> Wait for Dinan Engineer Chris Chandler getting back to me when I can get free flow exhaust installed
5. M5 bumper -> Got it painted and sitting in my garage waiting for exhaust stage completes
6. Thinking about side gills -> I have a pair ready, but I need to think again before doing it. No M5 badge whatsoever.
Interior:
1. ///M paddle shifter -> Done
2. Illuminated ///M shift knob -> Done
3. ///M footrest -> Done
4. ///M gas and brake pedals -> Done

how nice it looks and smooth... now its time for the oem M5 carbon package
one advice, if you ever get the fenders of M5 try to fill in the grill areas for a smoother surface
that way you will have the wide fenders with no m5 emblems and grilles on it..
