Just thought I'd get some pics up of this that I did earlier in the week.
Thanks to Dav for his excellent DIY thread, I fitted my LCI lights using the write-up.
Also a massive thanks to Nick (M3>535d) for supplying the Lights and Cables and agreeing to take time out of his day to meet me halfway

I'm currently using Bruce's V4 cables and have found that when the lights are on "Auto" & I start the car there is No Strobing; But if the lights are in any other position and the car is started there is Strobing for around 4-5 seconds.

Nice..looks great, congrats

So did you purchase the lights from 535d or someone esle? Is strobbing expected with v4 cables?

Hey Gene, I got the lights and cables from M3>535d (Nick).
He obviously got the cables from Bruce & I think the lights were new from dealer.

So far I've kept my lights on "Auto" and dont get any strobing on start, however in any other mode (Off, Parking or Main lights) I get 4/5 seconds of strobing on start.

Wink

Congrats on the upgrade. Makes the car look more modernized. i have been patiently waiting for the LCI tail light upgrade to be easy enough for an average person to DIY.
Looks like it's just about there!
Whats the cost for the complete setup - cable and lights?

Are the front lights just as easy/straightforward?

Ps Bruce you are a f*#^ing genius!!!
