I think the "purple lights" are actually just the infrared LEDs that send audio to the wireless headphones. The infrared is not visable to the human eye, but they show up on digital camera pictures. That is why we see purple lights.

Yes thats right , and that I also have been writing in this topic , it did cost 120 Euro on E-bay ( new ) ant toke me about 5-6 hours to "modifie" to fit the car and get the cables connected.
No it's not Bruce , just a local "Danish" star

Very nice work! Did mine before, but yours looks much better and more integrated.
Does your car have alarm system? If so, you're blocking the alarm interior motion sensor. Another thing is glaring from the rear. Time to tint
Any popping noise whenever changing DVD or hissing noise?

Hi

Motion sensor just "relocated" , and no , no noise problems , have noise filters on the Phono cables between AUX-in and the DVD player.
