On regular E60s, the area around the license plate frame is concaved inwards, whereas on an M5, it's flat and flushed with the area above it where the roundel is. Look at pics of my old 545 below with the trunk finisher installed and hopefully you can tell. And those pics will also show the ACS roof and trunk spoilers I had so you can get an idea of how they'll look on your car also.

Oh yes that finisher is very nice, actually the overall appearance of the car looks very sharp!

You should PM John@EuroRev if you're interested in the finisher. That's where I got mine a while back. I think r1racer may also carry it.
