Okay, I got it this morning and it's really cool. I don't think that it ads any horsepower but it makes the accelerator feel more sporty and a hell of a lot more sensitive. That's all.

that's correct. no actual gain in horsepower or torque, but way more responsive.

It makes each individual shift occur faster, so you can feel the difference even on Steptronic too!

I installed mine today and I do enjoy the quicker response. It works great on the 2008 550i.
