Hi Folks,

Thanks for all your kind replies!

ro11dice: You caught me. After seeing jiio's Style 166M rims during our last Meet & Greet, I knew I had to upgrade! And of course EuroCarFan is to blame for some of my upgrades too!

low_ball_88: Regarding the front license plate, I've gone "front-plate-less" with my 3-series for 8 years, and now my E60 for a year. I believe the key success factor is where you park/travel. I normally just drive to and from work. When at home the car stays in the garage. I do know that folks that live in San Francisco (I live in Silicon Valley, far enough away from S.F.) will definitely get ticketed for no front license place. Just my $0.02.

Thanks again folks for the feedback. Any questions on my mods (where I got it, how much $, etc.) please PM me. I'd be happy to share.

Cheers,
CoolTones

Just FYI that I did the mod on M5 SMG shift knob for CoolTones.
Old knob and boot were removed, and M5 SMG shift knob leather boot was re-based with old knob square base.
I'm glad CoolTones was so happy about it

Hey Folks,

With most of the mods done to the *outside* of the car, it sure is nice to get something done to the *inside* so that you can actually enjoy it while driving.

Thanks my530i for installing it. It is DEFINITELY a nice addition to any E60 (Yes, my530i's kit is compatible with both SMG and Steptronic!)

Cheers,
CoolTones

Hi Folks,

It has almost been a year since I first picked up my E60. It's been a love fest ever since!
Just last week my friend picked up his 2007 E60 -- and it just happened to be the same color as mine.

Aside from me having the M-Tech kit installed at the BMW VPC, all the other stuff I added to my E60 happened this past year. Looking at his new 2007 E60 made me realize just how much stuff I added to my car.

Enjoy the Pix!

CoolTones has SMG. There is no confusion between the SMG and Step. I'd rather have a Step these days after this last weekend.

No way! get lost.

You cant beat the fun of SMG. I rather give up that few tenths of a second on acceleration from a stop to have the fun and enjoyment of SMG. I still refuse to believe that on a roll the step will be faster than the SMG. I forget did anyone with a 545 step and 545 SMG do a rolling run? or a 550 step with a 550 SMG do a rolling run?
