You and your damn car has cost me more money than anyone else on this site! Thought everything was great with my car, but now quads may be in my future thanks to you. (only if I can get DINAN to do it). Quite a few of my parts came from browsing your threads. I say thanks, but my wife....... I dig all the parts everyone has, but I also really like keeping my performance parts DINAN. For obvious warranty reasons, but also because it feels like my car is a part of something ( if you know what I mean) I've never had it dyno'd. I got all the DINAN mods done in one shot and never even really thought about it. (I do now of course wish I had). I'll have to get it dyno'd one of these days for sure. I just wish DINAN had more performance parts available for the 535i. I'm sure there is an Intercooler, a CAI, and larger turbos somewhere in their future. Crossing my fingers. I am hoping to be able to make it to the SLO meet. Have to check with the boss. The kids play comp soccer so weekends don't exist for me much.
Fugs - i'm glad i've had "some" influence on your mods! i thought i had a pretty good handle on all of the 535'ers on the board, you're pretty stealthy my friend!

yes, i totally understand about stickin' to one brand/tuner. plus, how else are you suppose to get that well sought after DINAN badge?!

my Dinan auth dealer is talkin' to them right now 'bout some possible R&D with my car, but i'm not holding my breath. especially since i don't have the exhaust. i totally agree with you in that they need to make a larger intercooler, but after our own R&D with a local tuner - we came to the conclusion that it would take some major surgery to get a larger IC in due to the fact our oil cooler is hard lined directly in front of the IC.

in regards to multiple quotes, simply click on the "quote" icon for each post you want, then once you've clicked on all the ones you want to quote.....hit "add reply" at the bottom of the page. bam!

Tony - His 535 reminds me of your old 545, less the black 124's. Had you still had your 545, you guys would be twins.

The thing with DINAN right now is that they are so much more focused on the 135 and 335 as that's where the performance market really is. Us 535 modders are a rare breed and bottom of the food chain atm unfortunately. The parts will come out though. Just not as fast as I would like them too.....

I like it....

We just need to figure out how to make a cool hand sign for three numbers with only two hands and we're set.....

I was thinking the same thing and coincidentally had dug up some old pics to post on another thread:

You should have painted the Dinan 5 badge, black. I like that. Nice job FUGS!

PS - Tony - Nice wheels on that 545!

Thanks! The DINAN badge actually sat in my glove compartment for months because I wouldn't put it on until it was painted. Darwin at SonicMS got it painted for me when they did my Mtech, and my trunk finisher, and my spoiler, and etc etc etc.....(Thanks Darwin)

And that is a nice 545 btw. Nice step up though with the M5. Definitely my next car as well.....
